About Us
Our Purpose
The New Deal Coalition exists to build an America that works for us all.
We believe people should be able to live with dignity, raise families, get healthcare, afford housing, retire securely, and participate in a democracy where every vote counts. We believe markets and private enterprise can create real prosperity, but only when the rules are fair, basic needs are protected, workers have power, and government is not captured by billionaires, corporations, or dark money.
Our purpose is simple: to bring people together around a practical agenda for broad prosperity and clean democracy.
Why the New Deal Coalition Exists
Millions of Americans support universal healthcare, higher wages, affordable housing, stronger unions, fair taxes, public investment, and a government that serves ordinary people instead of the powerful.
But too often, those ideas are trapped inside labels, factions, and political language that turn people away before they even hear the substance.
The New Deal Coalition exists to offer a broader home for that agenda.
We are rooted in the New Deal tradition: the belief that government can and should protect people from economic insecurity, corporate abuse, concentrated wealth, and political corruption. We are not interested in ideological purity. We are interested in results.
America has done this before. We can do it again.
What We Are Building
We are building a broad coalition around practical economic security, fair opportunity, and clean majority-rule democracy.
That means fighting for universal healthcare, affordable housing, strong worker protections, fair taxes on extreme wealth, public investment in America’s future, and a democracy where voters matter more than billionaires, corporations, lobbyists, or partisan mapmakers.
We want to help create a political language that can reach working people, young people, families, small business owners, independents, Democrats, progressives, disaffected voters, and anyone who believes this country should work better for ordinary people.
The goal is not to replace one narrow faction with another.
The goal is to build a durable majority for an America that works for us all.
What We Are Not
The New Deal Coalition is not a socialist organization, a communist organization, or a call to replace private enterprise with government control.
We do not reject markets, private enterprise, entrepreneurship, or personal success. We reject an economy where the rules are rigged for the wealthy and powerful while millions of people struggle to afford healthcare, housing, childcare, education, groceries, and retirement.
We are not anti-business. We are anti-corruption, anti-monopoly, anti-exploitation, and anti-oligarchy.
We are not here to divide people by ideology. We are here to unite people around basic principles: dignity, fairness, democracy, and broad prosperity.
How to Get Involved
The New Deal Coalition is just getting started.
You can help by reading the platform, sharing the message, discussing these ideas with people in your community, and helping build a broader movement for practical economic reform and clean democracy.
This project belongs to everyone who believes America should work for us all, not just the powerful.
